Container Gardening
If you don’t feel like digging in the ground to plant flowers, try pots or containers. They look prominent when placed on a stone patio or step. And they’re ideal for a balcony.
Have a tray beneath the container for drainage. Since flowers in containers can’t draw water from the ground, they need regular watering—from you. Water more if the containers are in full sun; less if in deep shade.
Try planting Vinca vine, Creeping Jenny or Asparagus Fern on the edges of the container for a “pendulous” effect.
